This is you most basic lesson. ABCs in Spanish. It is pretty similar as english, except for a couple of additions. I use this handout for my students, it's pretty basic, but they love it!!! Having colorful images helps a lot to remember the letters.
1. Give this handout to your students:
They will love it! ... and will follow along as you pronounce each letter for them.

2. Dictado:
It's important that your students do listening activities so they get used to hearing these letters. I usually do a brief "dictado" of five words every day for one week or until I see improvement.

3. Actividades:
Playing games, such a spelling bee contest, is a great way for students to practice the ABCs in Spanish. The more competitive it gets, the more fun they have. Encouraging them with small prizes such as cute pencils, erasers, etc will be a great way to engage them.

Spanish is definitely not the easiest language to learn. Back when I was in high school, I almost failed my Spanish class a couple of times. The words that they use are just not the easiest to learn, which really had me going nuts. I am happy that there is a site that can help others learn the basics of Spanish. If you have a Spanish class coming up, then I really recommend reading about the tips in this blog
